• These are contact extraction tools to be used when a contact must be removed to correct a wiring error or change a circuit.
• Insert the tool tip into the connector's fitting surface, close the clip that comes with the contact, and push in until the tip hits. Push out the push-out knob and then pull the contact out from the rear.
• When pushing in the tip of the tool, if you insert it with the push-out knob depressed, the clip may be damaged. For that reason, press firmly on the body of the tool, press the tip all the way in, and only then press the knob.
