      A linear rail (retainer type) is a slide rail used to move a target object vertically. This can be used instead of a linear motion bearing or ball screw. Multi-purpose slide rails can also be classified as retainer types. Since the retainer and inner rail move via a rail, accurate reciprocal motion can be obtained even when used for movement in the vertical direction. Applications include moving a detector up and down via a cylinder, adjusting the workpiece position manually, opening and closing the supply window manually, and conveying the workpiece via a cylinder. Stainless steel types have excellent corrosion resistance. Those made of aluminum make the unit more lightweight. Since each product has a rated load, it is important to check the weight of the object to be moved.
