Fluoropolymer fittings are fittings made from fluoropolymers. These are used for pipes containing flowing fluids such as water or oil, or steam or air. Fittings are called various names, such as joints, connectors and unions. Types include an L type that changes the direction of the pipe, and an irregular connector that can connect pipes with different opening diameters. The fluoropolymer material is made from fluorite, which has heat resistant properties and does not conduct electricity.
