  Hex Socket Head Taper Plug, GJ Type

  Taper plug usable in high pressure (high airtightness) conditions developed for reliability.[Features]· The GJ type plug is referred to as a "float type" (JIS type), so when it is screwed into the PT or PS female thread specified in JISB0203, the standard diameter of the taper thread is established near the center of the length (I) so that the large end service is higher than the mounting surface.· Conventionally, a PT plug with a square hole is specified by JIS in place of a hex hole for the GJ type, but recently in order to improve the safety and work efficiency of tightening, hex socket head GJ plugs capable of reliable tightening have come to be used in various quarters.

When the plug is screwed into PT (pipe taper) female threading specified in JISB0203, a reference diameter is established near the large end face so that its large end face is almost flush with the mounting face.· It recently has become the indispensable primary plug for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.· It has the advantages of a GM type plug and is a level seal type, so it becomes flush with the embedded and installed main body for a pleasing external appearance and also facilitates miniaturization of machinery· Comes with a tightening interference, which enables substantial tightening, allowing it to withstand great internal pressure.· The plug is subject to cold plastic working for high precision, and is heat processed to allow it to be used under high pressure.
